SETTING UP A COMFY CORNER

Set up a cosy corner: Firstly, a cosy corner isn’t a place which will make you lazier, but it is basically a corner where you can relax and chill. Let it be for 10 Or 15 minutes it is still a corner where you can spend time, admiring the nature or reading and feel the air brushing through your hair. Balcony is a very creative part of the house. You can setup many different things to make your balcony attractive. The parents or children can make the balcony look creative and unique in their own way.

SO LET'S CREATE A COSY CORNER!
So how do you create a cosy corner? Its pretty easy

A place to sit – first step to find a comfortable corner. A place where there’s sunlight but a place which also protects you from rain.Make it comfortable, use bright or minimalist furniture depending on your choice. You can add rattan chairs and a comfy rug, in case of an outdoor balcony or open roof you can add patio sets as it has different designs and patterns.

Setting up a comfy corner in a small place is tricky. You can use multi-functional furniture such as combining seating space with a storage or etc.

Tip: you can create a corner in ‘L’ shape.

1. Add cushions, pillows/tables– pillows make your corner look inviting and attractive. Make sure you don’t use down pillows outdoors as they get water logged, but if it is a fully covered balcony then no issues. A place to put down your drink, keep a small table which doesn’t uses a lot of space or somewhere within arm’s reach to set down your mug/glass.

2. Add some greenery – get creative with your plant spirit. Some herbs that smell good as they add a refreshing essence which can lighten up your day. Try hanging pots if there is an empty wall. Plants are natural air purifiers and also boosts ones mood.

3. Create some shade – add shade objects or things like pergola, canopy. You can enjoy days with harsh sunlight or light drizzle. Use roll-up outdoor shades, these are suitable for all weather conditions. You can turn fake ivy into a set of curtains that hang from your balcony ceiling.

4. Light it up – a lot can be done by lighting. Create a festive vibe or warm ambience. Light up candles once the sun goes down.

5.Install a swing – one of the best ways to make your balcony look attractive. You can enjoy the cool breeze and swing your worries away. You can also add cushions for extra comfort.

These are a few tips to create a cosy balcony corner. Most of us living in apartments with limited space can cause us problems to add extra things in the balcony, but you still can get creative and use your own ideas.
Therefore balconies can be a gateway to a breath of fresh air!
